Well, I've been back for about a week now. Of course as soon as i get here it decides to snow about half a damn foot. Oh well. Anyway. So the trip went good. We made it to Boston, Philly, D.C., Upstate Maryland, New York, SC and Asheville North Carolina. I had a great time. Unfortunately the trip was cut short but I think I got enough travelling in me to last a little while. I've been trying to think of some of the things we saw and did. The first thing that comes to mind is this guy we saw in Boston. We had some free coupons for Starbucks (i'll do anything to screw that company) and were drinking our coffee outside and an old guy on a Pee Wee Herman look-alike bike cruised up and started petting the dog, Coal. As he was stroking the dog with excessive force he started talking. I'm not quite sure what he said at first but then he started talking about his bike. Out of the blue he asked if we knew what a snake does in the grass. ??? We weren't sure what the hell this guy was talking about. Anyway, he finally told us, in so many words, that he could do a daredevil trick that most people our age couldn't do and then set out to do it. The next thing I know this late seventy year old man comes flying by us with his two feet on the back fender and he is swerving like a snake in the grass. We all had a good laugh. God Bless Daredevil Senior Citizens.

What else?
From Boston we went to Philly. We had to sleep in the van because we didn't know anyone there or it was too late or something like that. I parked in this nice park overlooking a moon lit river. About five after midnight some sort of a cop scared the shit out of us and made us leave, saying that the park closed at midnight. We then moved to a very sketchy street and slept there. Sometime after we woke up we went to Philly Park. I've seen it so much on videos it was nice to see it in person. Unfortunatley it was raining.

From there we went to D.C. for a couple days. It was nice. We had a place to stay every night and the weather wasn't that bad. At some point we began a massive spit ball war on passing cars. The van we took was quite nice and had this smooth tank-like sliding side window that was perfect for attacking rich white folks in their thirty thousand dollar cars. I had forgotten how much fun a good spitwad can be. After a couple days in the city, we went upstate and stayed on a farm with our friend Beth. We got to chase some baby goats and Coal got to run around a bit. It was nice. From Maryland we headed towards Atlanta to see a Hot Water Music-Against Me show. Nearly half way there we found out that it had been cancelled, so we opted to head towards Asheville North Carolina. We got to suprise our friends Ryan and Katelyn and see their new place. After a couple nights and a couple beers we gave ourselves a good ole stick and poke tattoo. Of course mine had to be the one to turn red and scare the shit out of me. I guess it made for a hillarious trip to the hospital.

After Asheville we decided to come home for numerous reasons, but I had a great time and am looking forward to another. I forgot to mention that when we were in New York City, I got to see Lucero play two days in a row. They were great! I can't wait to see them again. Check them out at and make sure to vote for them in Playboy.

I think that about brings us up to speed. There were alot of funny things that I either didn't put in, or have forgotten.
I will add them in sooner or later.

Well, for now, I think that's it.
